Multilingual Plugins

The Asli theme is designed to support multilingual websites, allowing you to translate content using popular WordPress translation plugins. However, it does not include built-in support for Right-to-Left (RTL) languages.

Supported Multilingual CMS

Asli has been tested and confirmed to be compatible with the following multilingual plugins:

• WPML – A premium plugin that allows full multilingual functionality, including translated menus, custom post types, and WooCommerce integration.
• Polylang – A free alternative for managing multilingual content, with an optional premium version for additional features.
• TranslatePress – A user-friendly plugin that enables visual translation directly from the front-end.

Each of these plugins provides tools for translating pages, portfolio items, and custom theme elements.

No Support for RTL

The theme does not support RTL layouts by default. This means that languages like Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian may require additional custom CSS styling to properly adjust text alignment, menu direction, and layout structure.

For RTL compatibility, you may need to:

• Disable "split chars" animations across all the widgets as they cause incorrect rendering of RTL texts.
• Add custom CSS overrides to reposition elements.
• Use a child theme for advanced modifications.
• Utilize third-party plugins that assist with RTL adjustments.
