Does the theme require Elementor Pro to work?

Yes, it's required.

Does Elementor Pro come bundled with the theme?

No, their license doesn't allow developers to bundle the Pro version of Elementor with the theme package.

If you don't have Elementor Pro installed in your WordPress site, the theme will download and activate Pro Elements — a free derivative work of the Elementor Pro code, licensed under GPLv3. Pro Elements, therefore, is also licensed under the terms of the GNU Public License, version 3.

I already have Elementor Pro installed on my WordPress site. Will the theme still require me to install Pro Elements?

No, in this case, the theme will activate and use your copy of Elementor Pro and won't download Pro Elements.

What is the difference between Elementor Pro and Pro Elements?

Pro Elements includes almost the same feature set as Elementor Pro, including:

Yes, it has the same codebase as Elementor Pro (except for some PHP constants that have been changed for compatibility reasons). You can inspect the code yourself using a diff tool against their repository: Pro Elements on GitHub.

Can the theme work without Elementor Pro or Pro Elements?

In theory, yes, it can work. However, the theme demo relies on Theme Builder, which is not available in the free version of Elementor. This can be replaced with a plugin like Elementor Header & Footer Builder if you don't want to use Elementor Pro or Pro Elements.

Theme widgets and custom controls are fully functional in the free version of Elementor and don't require "Pro" features.

Will I get automatic updates for Pro Elements?

Yes, Pro Elements is updated approximately once a month, and you will receive a notification in your WordPress dashboard when an update is available.
