Demo Import Troubleshooting

Case 1: Demo import takes too long (more than 20 minutes) or halts after 30 seconds

Problem

Your server likely has tight PHP limits.

Solution

  1. Cancel the demo import by closing the browser tab.
  2. Verify your server configuration in accordance with server requirements.
  3. Adjust PHP limits if needed. This is usually possible via your hosting panel. Alternatively, contact your hosting support to make the necessary adjustments.
  4. Retry the demo import using the wizard setup. The import process will resume from the point where it was paused.

Case 2: Demo import halts immediately after starting, and nothing is imported

Problem

Your server may not have a connection to the demo content server.

Solution

  1. Verify that your server can connect to artemsemkin.com. You can do this by executing the shell command ping artemsemkin.com or by contacting your hosting support for assistance.
  2. Check if a network firewall is active on your server and temporarily disable it. This is typically managed via your hosting panel. If needed, contact your hosting support for help.
  3. Retry the demo import using the wizard setup. The import process will resume from where it was paused.

Case 3: Demo import completed but with partially imported content

Problem

Your server may be functioning normally but required more time to complete the demo import.

Solution

Retry the demo import using the wizard setup. The process will continue from where it was paused.
