Using Animated GIF files

The theme itself doesn't process image files in any way. It simply displays what you've loaded to media library. However WordPress creates thumbnails out of any image you upload. This includes GIF file too.

GIF file stopped to animate after upload?

• Make sure that you use the original Full thumbnail size for the images appearance
• Avoid any resizing, cropping or other manipulations using Elementor tools or WordPress editor.

Always use Full image size when your widget contains GIF files.

Preparing GIF files

I recommend you to prepare your GIF's before you load them into WordPress media library. There is a nice free online service to process GIF files which I personally use sometimes EZ GIF (opens new window) It allows to convert, compress and manipulate GIF files very conveniently.
