Changing CPT Slugs

The theme registers an extra custom post type arts_portfolio_item which has a default slug portfolio. This slug is used in the permalinks URLs. For example, https://mywebsite.com/portfolio/my-item.

If you'd like to change this slug, go to Customizer → Portfolio. Enable the custom slug option here, and you will see a text field for a custom slug input. Change it as you prefer and click Update in Customizer.

After you're done, you will need to update the website permalinks. Otherwise, you may get 404 errors on your pages. To update permalinks from the admin panel, go to Settings → Permalinks and simply click Save Changes – no need to change anything.

Simply click Save Changes without making any changes
